Physical Therapy

I began my recovery at the Irvine Physical Therapy and Rehabilitation clinic. After hobbling in on crutches left over from my last surgery and in a cast provided to me by Peruvian emergency room doctors, the staff swung into action. After some tests and a catscan, they placed my leg in a hard plastic boot and put me on a two day a week therapy schedule. Between visits, I was basically confined to my couch. This made getting meals quite difficult. Also, sleeping in bed with the boot was hard. I spent about one month in this routine.
